These were purchased back in the early 1970s. Never used after 1976, hardly used before that. After hauling them around to five states in 45 years, it is time to find them a new home. They are very cool fins and deserve a better life than living in my closet.
Farallon was an innovative company seeking to improve scuba gear in the 1960s/ early 1970s. These fins pushed the conventions of fin design at the time. The ankle braces allowed more power and more thrust with less strain and made you use your thigh muscles. The adjustment dial allowed a more custom fit to the fins. Farallon claimed these were the biggest & most powerful scuba diving fins available. Its unusual features caused a small controversy in the scuba community - either they were the best thing to ever come out or they were stupid looking and awkward to use. I think the best feature is they can stand on their own!
Due to the weight of the items, packing material, and the oversized box needed to ship these fins, the shipping charges run high. It is being set by eBay's calculator to the zip code you provide. Local pickup (west of Philadelphia, PA) is available if that is convenient for you.
