    Description

    Vintage Cole North Carolina Rebecca Pitcher Vase, with rare "CANAL" stamp on base. Very pretty blue glaze. The white spots in the photos are from the camera - there are no white specks on the vase. This could be JB Cole or another Cole pottery piece. It is not signed. Circa 1930s or 1940s? This is not my area of expertise, so please view photos and ask all questions before purchase since refunds do not include shipping and this will be costly to ship - it is heavy! It weighs almost 7 lbs unboxed. It measures approx 19.5" high and the base is 6". The chubby part measures approx 7.5" wide. The condition is very good - with a small chip at the top of the handle (it was colored in blue to match so it doesn't show, see photo 3) and some imperfections in the glaze/clay.There are some minor signs of use/wear. It has the word "CANAL" stamped on the bottom.   No cracks or large chips that I can see. The blue glaze has a speckle.  Shipping Priority Mail, 10 lbs boxed carefully. Thanks for looking.
