Vintage AMF Voit Viking A66 Fins. Very Rare Size XL, 14-15.

Description

These genuine AMF Voit Viking A66 Fins from the 1960’s are in size XL (now, a very rare size to find in this model), which can accommodate a barefoot size 14-15.  Very few of these fins were produced by the W. J. Voit Rubber Company in this size. These fins became popular in the television series, “Sea Hunt” and “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.” The rubber colors are blue in the blades, and black in the foot/heel pockets. Due to their age, the rubber in the heels and foot openings is showing signs of deterioration and checking (please examine the attached photos carefully). These fins are over 50 years old, and I cannot guarantee how operational they will be in the water. Should you choose to use them, one option would be to cut along the dashed line, remove the heel cup, and wear them as a closed strap fin. They are a great collector’s item that could be used for limited events, or could be used to create a reproduction.  Sold as a pair.
