Rare Vintage 9" Original MOHAIR Teddy Bear Battery Operated Toy Drummer In Perfect Working Condition.This is the Only One I have Seen Like This. It is an early battery Toy with a Rare Mohair Bear. The Bear Moves His Head Side to Side, Bangs The Bass Drum, Hits The Cymbals and Walks All At the Same Time. we assume this is an Early Japanese Battery Toy But the Bear has An American Mohair Bear Look. The Bear has 99.9% Mohair without any Bald Spots or Missing Mohair The Battery Case is 100% Clean and shows no Corrosion or Rust, There are no Markings on this Toy. It Works 100% Perfectly with 2 D Batteries and has an On and off Switch. The Batteries Go In the Bass Drum. The Bass drum is Tin as are the Cymbals. The Wheels are Plastic. The bear is Mohair Covered Over His metal Body. The Toy weighs 2 Pounds with the Batteries and wears His original Corduroy Vest. Everything about this Toy seems to indicate an early Toy for a battery Operated One. he is a Charmer and Would appeal to any Bear Collector Looking For Something Unique or a Battery Operated Toy Collector. Notice the early Looking painting on the Drums. The Animals almost Look Hand Painted Tin but Not Sure as it Could be a combination of Litho and Paint. There is some Slight Superficial Dust on the bear but Overall Outstanding Look. Ribbons Are Original to the Toy.
