    Description

    Here is a really nice old covered jar that was made by noted NC Potter, C.B Craven. This is likely from the Tobacco Road shop era of the 80's, but could be earlier. Rarely do you see one of his pots in a swirl clay glaze. This one stands about 7.5" high 6.5" wide, and has a pie crust rim on it. Given that it also has a lid, this leads me to think it's a humidor, or tobacco jar. It is the correct size, for sure. It is marked on the bottom with his stamp, and it is in pristine condition.
