Offered is vintage flower vase by the well regarded North Carolina potter, Neolia Cole (1927-
2
016) who owned and operated Cole's Pottery in Sanford, NC. This vase is potted in a rare form having a boubous body and two jagged cutouts on each side of the top to hold flowers. It has a striking weathered bronze glaze and overall shows a very modernist look. The base is stamped with the Cole Pottery mark and dated 1985. Neolia has written the following in a cursive hand (I cannot make sense of the last two words [or perhaps 1 word] that she has placed in quotation marks:

The vase is a nice size for display, measuring ~8.25" in height and ~7.5" in diameter at its widest point.
The piece is in good estate condition. There are no cracks, chips, hairlines or repairs.
