LOUIS RAGSDALE signed Vase Set, ORIGINAL Seagrove NC Pottery 1992
Something a bit unusual . . . both are dated leap day 1992 (2-29-92).
Includes large 8 1/2 inch Ginger Jar with Lug handles, lid, and hand painted Carolina Dogwood pattern over deep blue glaze.
The matching companion piece is a classic 5 1/2 inch Seagrove Jug with the same pattern and glaze.
Very nice impressive pieces.  And very classic, collectible NC art.
The Ginger Jar has some minor wear spots to glaze on the lid and lid seat and one glaze error inside the lid.  These are not significant issues and does not detract from the piece.  As a note, the lid fits very well.  The smaller jar appear mint.
