    I have two of these low D whistles available, one has a stronger low end but is breather and takes more to push the second octave while one is clear and smooth and not quite as loud. You can have your preference. This listing is for the one that has a stronger low end with a little more chiff (breathiness) to the sound and require a little extra push in the second octave Please check my other listings for the other one.
    This Low D Irish Whistle has been precision machined and hand crafted by Nick Metcalf in New York, USA. Nick has been making Irish whistles since 1998 and has sold over 15,000 instruments worldwide! This is a single item listing. You will receive the exact whistle pictured.
    This whistle has a husky and haunting sound to it with a strong low D bell tone and good volume. It has a little chiffiness that many players like having in ther low whistle sound.
