    Description

    Hand-thrown stoneware creamer made of red clay.
    Stamped “Cole Pottery Cox Mill Road Sanford N.C.”
    Hand signed “G.F. Cole.”
    From the shop of General Foister (G.F.) Cole, son of Arthur Ray (A.R.) Cole.
    Gold/tan matte glaze, decorated with incised lines
    Stands 3-5/8 in. tall, 2-3/4 wide at top, 1-3/4 in. at foot.
    Excellent condition; no cracks, chips, flakes, hairlines, crazing,
    or any other post-production damage.
    Shows small irregularities typical of handmade pottery,
    including slight dent in handle.
