Charging System Diode / Rectifier, fits various 50cc 125cc, 150cc & 250cc Scooters & ATVs.
NOTE:
This one replaces the type without a wire lead (see last picture).
NOTE:
This is often called a rectifier... it is not, it is a simple diode.
NOTE:
Diodes allow power to flow in only one direction. This is used in the charging circuit to allow alternator power to flow to the battery but will not allow the battery to drain back through the stator. Failure will cause a dead battery or no charge condition. Use an ohm meter to test for continuity in the direction of the battery only.
