AV Swirl Compote Fruit Bowl Catawba Valley Southern Folk Art Pottery Carolina NC

Description

For sale is a very nice swirl pedestal bowl (aka compote) by AV Smith.  This pink and white swirl is very rare and rather special.  I’ve only seen a total of 3 pink/white swirl pieces. Supposedly AV was going for red swirl but it didn’t get dark enough.   This is a large piece, 12” diameter and  8” tall.
No chips, cracks, or repairs.
