    Description

    Purple Mystery Snails (POMACEA BRIDGESII)
Baby purple mystery snails available! They were born 4/27 and range from pea to nickel size.
Parents (pictured) are large and beautiful! They love to play and are fun to watch. They eat a mixed diet of algae wafers, meat wafers, veggie sticks, and green beans. Snails need a good calcium source as well as a PH of above 7.0 (preferably higher) to maintain their beautiful shells and prevent shell deterioration. They will grow very fast, and can start laying clutches when they are the size of a quarter or so. They will grow quicker in higher temperatures, but their shells will be thinner and prone to breakage, and their overall lifespan will be shortened. Ideal parameters are around 72-76 degrees with a PH of 7.5-8.0+
DOA POLICY: Extra snails will always be included with purchase to cover potentials DOA’s. If there are additional DOA’s, a refund can be requested with a clear picture of the DOA submitted to the seller within 24 hours of the first delivery attempt. Traveling in the mail, along with temperature and water parameter changes, might shock some snails and they may not come out of their shell for a day or two. If temperatures in your area exceed 82°F please ensure you make arrangements for the package to either be held at the post office or that the package can be left in a shaded place. I cannot be responsible for any delay in shipping/delivery once the fish are dropped off at my local post office. Snails are shipped on Mondays and Tuesday only, and if payment is received after 12pm PST on Tuesday, they will be shipped out the following Monday. Shipping is non-refundable, and if replcements need to be sent the buyer will pay shipping costs.
Snails will be shipped in an insulated box (ice pack included for hot weather), and will be nestled inside a breathable plastic container, wrapped in wet paper towels.
