The British Silver Britannia is one of the worlds most recognizable bullion coin collections. The silver coins offered in this series have been available since 1997 with the 1987 design of Britannia from Philip Nathan on the reverse. The Royal Mint of England introduced the modern Britannia design in 1987 when the Gold Britannia Series debuted. The design of Britannia on British coinage dates back to the Roman Empires control of the British Isles. During the reign of Emperor Hadrian in the 1st Century AD, a Britannia image appeared for the first time on coins issued in what was then the Roman province of Britannia.

On the obverse side of 2020 1/10 oz British Silver Britannia Coins, you will find the fifth-generation British effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This design was created in July 2015 by Jody Clark and appeared on coins in the United Kingdom starting with the 2016 date mark. The portrait shows the Queen in right-profile relief with the George IV State Diadem Crown. The background field of the coins has a guilloche design element that resembles a braided rope.
The reverse face of 2020 British Silver Britannia Coins in this tube comes with a depiction of Britannia. This image of Britannia was created by Philip Nathan during a Royal Mint art contest to conceive a new design for the bullion series. The image shows Britannia standing near the coast with a trident in her hand to control the seas and a shield with the Union Jack flag on it to defend the islands.
