Vintage Original 1950's Tin #3322 Toy MARUSAN 'SAN' NAUTILUS SSN 571 Submarine, Battery Operated, Both Motor & Lights, Boxed; Excellent; Made in Japan
This is a very rare complete 16 inch #3322 "SAN" Marusan Submarine with a battery motor made in the early 1950's in Japan. The Nautilus is in great cosmetic condition with almost no scratches or wear on the paint. It is dark blue and has a red stand and rudder,
gold fins, all the pieces are in great condition
. The batteries are inserted by removing the gun that exposes the battery very clean compartment. Although temperamental, the motor and lights (photos #6 &7) were tested and both operate.
The 15-1/2"box is original, complete and in near excellent condition.The top of the box has  one corner loose and a 2"slit, the directions for the operation of this submarine are glued on the inside. The bottom is in very good condition, all original staples are tight and the interior cardboard to hold the sub is included.
